Solideck completes steel deck production and packing for Dhaka Airport in Bangladesh

  After Solideck completed the supply of steel decks for the VIP terminal of Maldives Airport in April this year, it signed a steel deck supply contract with the customer for Dhaka Airport in Bangladesh on October 28. The production and packing of the steel decks has been completed .

  Dhaka Airport is the largest airport in Bangladesh. With the strengthening of international exchanges, the original airport can no longer cope with daily shipping, and the expansion of Dhaka Airport began in 2018. This is Solideck’s second influential project after completing the steel deck supply for Dhaka University in Bangladesh from 2019 to 2020.

  The area of the steel deck in the contract is about 10,000m2, of which SD65-510, with a thickness of 1.0mm, has an area of about 2,000 m2,, SD51-750, with a thickness of 1.0mm, and an area of about 8,000 m2. The yield strength of the two steel deck materials is 355Mpa. The amount of galvanizing on both sides is 275g/m2. Seven 40HC containers were used for the steel deck, and Solideck finished packing the seven containers in only one morning. The customer came to visit the steel deck factory in the morning and guided the packing.
