Completion of Dhaka Airport T3 Terminal with Solideck steel deck

It is learned that in March 2023, the main structure of the T3 terminal of Bangladesh Airport was successfully closed. Solideck provides 10000m² steel deck for it.

Overview of the steel deck of T3

In October 2022, Solideck won the bid for the steel deck project of the T3 terminal of Bangladesh Airport, including SD65-510 steel deck with an area of about 5000m²; SD51-750 steel deck with an area of about 5000m². The thickness of the steel deck is 1.0mm, the yield strength is 345Mpa, and the amount of double-sided galvanizing is 275g/m²;SD65-510 and SD51-750 are being used more and more in airports, and designers are considering the use of steel decks on various levels.

The entire steel deck took 7 months from detailed design to delivery. The design of the T3 terminal building is relatively complicated, and the deepening design of the steel deck is also complicated. At the same time, the customer constantly modifies the design. Solideck has revised a total of 5 versions of the design drawing, and finally obtained the confirmation of the customer and the designer.

Since Solideck began to provide steel decks for Dhaka University City in 2019, Solideck has continued to develop in airport factories, such as Macau Airport, Maldives Airport, Dhaka Airport, etc. Solideck’s steel decks continue to provide greater value to customers.
