Introduction of BRACU University City

The main building of the new campus of BRACU University City, a new landmark in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is nearing completion. The project adopts a steel structure concrete rigid structure, and the floor slab is a steel deck composite floor slab. There are three underground floors and thirteen floors above the ground. The steel structure frame➕V-pillar is used to convert straight across the fourth and fifth floors, and the floor thickness is 150mm and 200mm.

Solideck provided nearly 30,000m2 steel floor decks for the new campus project of BRACU University City. The type of steel floor decks was SD53-600. The whole project lasted for two years. From the initial stage of the construction of the new campus of BRACU University City, Solideck provided the steel deck selection plan for the owner, the designer and the construction party, and provided the laying plan of the steel deck in the mid-term. When the steel deck arrived at the construction site, Solideck provided on-site construction. The personnel provided installation guidance, and made important contributions to the smooth completion of the main building of the new campus of BRACU University City.
